120 iskul isasabak sa face-to-face class
Handa na umano ang Department of Education (DepEd) na ipagpatuloy ang mga face-to-face class sa 120 mga pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa bansa.
“We have spent a lot of time studying the implementation of pilot face-to-face classes amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and we are ready for it,” sambit ni DepEd Secretary Leonor Briones sa ‘Laging Handa’ briefing kahapon.
“We initially identified 1,900 schools, then it was reduced to 600 plus schools… Now, we are ready to implement face-to-face classes in 100 public schools and 20 private schools. We are just waiting for the go signal from the president,” kuwento niya pa.
Ayon sa kalihim, base sa payo ng mga medical expert, ang mga batang estudyante ay kailangang iprayoridad sa pagbabalik ng face-to-face class upang madebelop ang kanilang socialization skills, study habits, at good manners and right conduct.
“We can gradually shift in doing away with printed materials and further digitization of our learning materials, but health and safety remain the most important.” (Dolly B. Cabreza)
