Lubos ang ligaya ni Deputy Speaker Mikee Romero para sa nakatakdang pagsabak ni shooter Jayson Valdez sa Tokyo Olympics sa susunod na buwan.

“I have known him since teenage days because he was part of my youth team when I was still the president of the shooting association (PNSA). So happy Jayson finally fulfilled his dream as an athlete,” lahad Lunes ng 1-Pacman representative. “I wish him and the rest of Team PH the best of luck.”

Pinayuhan din ng mambabatas ang 25 taong-gulang na manunudla, na maging pokus at huwag matakot sa mga makakalaban sa quadrennial meet.

“Since he’ll be playing for flag and country he has to give everything he’s got and should not be intimidated by his rivals,” sey ni Romero. “But I know this young man, he’s gutsy.”
