Yulo ginto sa Japan

Binalewala ni 2020+1 Tokyo Olympian at world champion Carlos Edriel ‘Caloy’ Yulo ang injury sa daliri upang mamayagpag sa paboritong men’s floor exercise at vault apparatus events sa katatapos na Japan Open (55th All Japan Seniors Gymnastics Championships).

Ito ang ibinalita ng Japanese coach ni Yulo na si Munehiro Kugimiya sa isang social media post Linggo sa unang torneo na sinalihan ng Pinoy kasama ang iba pang tinuturuang mga gymnast.

“He has injury in his finger in this time, but he still competed and so he completed team and apparatus final,” bulalas ni Kugimiya ukol sa kasalukuyang World Gynastics Championships men’s vault gold medalist na pambato ng Gymnastics Association of the Philippines.

“After the competition we found issues for next world championships. A month later we go to pre camp in Paris for world championships and then direct go to World Championships! Keep going!” hirit pa ng Hapones.

Bukod sa floor exercise nakatanso rin ang 22-anyos, tubong Ermita, Maynila sa vault, at nakapilak ang Team Tokushukai na kinabibilangan niya.

Susulong ang World Artistic Gymnastics Championships sa Oktubre 29-Nobymbrer 6 sa Liverpool, England. (Lito Oredo)
