Nilinis ng ilang Chinese national ang mga miyembro ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-National Capital Region (CIDG-NCR) sa anti-gambling operatopn sa isang subdibisyon sa Tambo, Parañaque City nakaraang linggo, ayon sa ulat.
Nakasaad ito sa dokumentong hawak ng Politiko_Ph. online news.
“Aside from the pieces of evidence they have recovered during their operation, the CIDG-NCR never took money or any personal belongings from the undersigned,’’ nakasaad sa dokumentong nilagdaan ng 13 Chinese national.
Ang isang pahinang notaryadong sworn statement na may petsang Marso 16 ay hindi lamang nag-aabsuwelto sa mga opertiba ng CIDG-NCR sa robbery at extortion, na inireklamo kay Police Deputy Chief for Administration Lt. General Rhodel Sermonia na siyang nag-utos para sampahan ng kaso ang mga kagawad ng CIDG.
“After we were released, we were requested by office of the PNP Deputy Chief for Administration to file a complaint against the personnel of CIDG- NCR who conducted the operation, but we refused to do so because we did not see any irregularity committed against us during the conduct of said operation,’’ayon sa pahayag ng mga Chinese.
Sa naunang ulat ay pinangalanan si Sermonia na nagnguso sa CIDG -NCR ang tumangay sa milyong cash mula sa vault, mamahaling relo at bag sa ginawang raid dahil sa paglabag sa anti-illegal gambling law.
Sa nasabi ring dokumento ng mga Chinese ay inatasan umano sila ni Sermonia na maghain ng kaso laban sa CIDG-NCR pero tumanggi umano sila.
“The office of the DCA prepared and acknowledgement receipt of items and made our representative Rowena Santos, assisted by our lawyer, Atty Allan Busmente, sign the supposed evidence in a complaint to be filed against the CIDG-NCR personnel which we did not agree of,’’ ayon pa sa statement.
Ang mga operatiba ng CIDG-NCR na sangkot sa robbery / extortion ay sinibak na sa kanilang puwesto habang gumugulong ang imbestigasyon sa kaso.
Iniulat ding siCIDG-NCR head Col Hansel Marantan ay nagboluntaryong magbitiw sa puwesto para maiwasan ang hinalang makaimpluwensiya ito sa investigation.
Sinabi rin ni CIDG director Brig. Gen. Romeo Caramat Jr. na nagsumite si Marantan ng courtesy resignation bilang head ng CIDG Metro Manila field office para bigyang-daan ang imbestigasyon sa kaso.(Nancy Carvajal)
