24 kolehiyo, unibersidad pinayagan sa face-to-face class

Inaprubahan ng Commission on Higher Education (CHED) ang limitadong face-to-face class sa 24 kolehiyo at unibersidad sa mga lugar sa bansa na mayroong mababang kaso ng COVID-19.

Base sa isinumiteng rekomendasyon ni CHED Chairman Prospero De Vera III sa Inter-Agency Task Force for Management of Emerging on Infectious Diseases, tanging ang mga 3rd year at 4th year college student lamang ang papayagang lumahok sa face-to-face class.

Ang mga higher education institutions (HEI) na mga papayagan sa limitadong face-to-face class ay ang mga sumusunod: Mariano Marcos State University – Batac (Region I); St. Louis University (CAR); Our Lady of Fatima University–City of San Fernando (Region III); Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health (NCR); University of the Philippines-Manila (NCR); University of Santo Tomas (NCR); University of East Ramon Magsaysay (NCR) at Our Lady of Fatima University – Quezon City (NCR).

Kabilang din ang Our Lady of Fatima University–Valenzuela City (NCR); Manila Central University (NCR); Adventist University of the Philippines (Region IV); De La Salle Health and Medical Science Institute (Region IV); University of Perpetual Help – Don Jose (Region IV); Our Lady of Fatima University – Sta. Rosa (Region IV); Naga College Foundation (Region V); West Visayas State University (Region VI); at Central Philippine University (Region VI).

Kasama rin ang Cebu Institute of Medicine (Region VII); University of Cebu School of Medicine (Region VII); Iloilo Doctors’ College of Medicine (Region VI); University of Iloilo (Region VI); Blancia Foundation College, Inc. (Region IX); Xavier University (Region X); at Liceo de Cagayan University (Region X).

Tanging mga estudyante sa mga kursong medicine, nursing, medical technology/medical laboratory science, physical therapy, midwifery, public health at iba pang may kinalaman sa medical courses ang papayagan sa face-to-face classe.

Tiniyak naman ng CHED na sumailalim sa masusing health inspection ng Department of Health (DOH) at mga pamahalaang lokal ang mga nabanggit na paaralan at maglalabas sila ng guideline para dito.(Dolly B. Cabreza/SDC)
