24 tonelada ng PPE biniyahe na sa Iloilo, Bacolod

Naihatid na sa Iloilo, Bacolod ang 24 tonelada ng mga personal protective equipment o PPE.

Sinabi ng Philippine Navy (PN) nitong Lunes na nakapagdala ang kanilang BRP Davao Del Sur (LD-602) ng may 20.79 gross tons ng mga personal protective equipment (PPE) set sa Iloilo City.

Ayon kay Navy public affairs office chief, Lt. Commander Maria Christina Roxas sa ulat ng Philippine News Agency, dumating ang barko sa Iloilo City noong Linggo matapos umalis sa Manila South Harbor noong Sabado.

Nakaalis na raw ang barko mula sa Iloilo City at inaasahang dumating na sa Bacolod City kahapon dala ang may 3.34 gross tons ng mga PPE set.

“This undertaking highlights the crucial capability of the PN to provide much needed logistical support and another manifestation of its full support to the government by devoting personnel, assets, and resources to the resolve of defeating this coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic,” sambit ni Roxas.
