Magbabanat ng buto ang three-time Philippine Football League champion Ceres-Negros sa 38th Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League 2020 kapag nakatapat ang Shan United Myanmar sa Martes sa Rizal Memorial Track-Football Stadium.

Binahagi ni Ceres coach Risto Vidakovic ang plano ng Busmen nitong Martes sa Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum sa Amelie Hotel-Manila sa Jorge Bocobo, Malate.

Hatid ang talakayan ng San Miguel Corporation, Braska Restaurant, Amelie Hotel, at Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), hinirit ng namuno sa Busmen sa titulo ng 2017 AFC Cup ASEAN Zone na wala silang pinapangako, pero gagawing lahat ang makakaya.

“We are going to fight until the last minute to reach the next round. It’s a very hard competition. But we are going to try. We will give our best so I hope everyone will support us.”

Dalangin naman ni striker Bienvenido Marañon na maraming manood na mga Pinoy sa Malate playing venue.

“We’re all excited,” wika ng Spanish striker na top scorer sa AFC Cup sa nakaraang taon sa 10 goals. “We are happy to play in Bacolod, but we’re also happy to play at Rizal Memorial.”

Pinalakas ng PH club squad ang lineup sa pagtapik kina Mark Hartmann, Pika Minegishi, Josh Grommen at Arnie Pasinabo lalo’t kaila­ngang manalo ng Busmen kontra Burmese upang umabot sa second round. (JAT)
