“Over the weekend, my life has changed in an instant. I did not expect my victory to trigger so much negative comments and hate online. I was hurt and it also aches my heart to unintentionally hurt some people as well, especially the production team of Ang Huling El Bimbo The Musical.
“My final performance during the finals of The Pop Stage is an Eraserheads medley and was meant to be a tribute to my favorite artists and musical while also incorporating my own story and experiences. It is a piece that reflects my relationship with my friends, my role as a student, and my passion for music. It was also dedicated to all the students who endlessly strive in life.
“There was no intention whatsoever on my part to plagiarize. I am sorry if I caused undue distress, seemed disrespectful or if I have hurt the theater community. Honestly, the things that I’ve read slightly affected my mental health. I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank all of the people who messaged just to check up on me. Clearly, as an amateur and aspiring artist, I still have so many things to learn. I humbly ask for everyone’s understanding as I navigate this new world that I have recently entered. I am not a bad person. My intentions were far different from what people think.
“I am grateful for the support of my new management and the people behind The Pop Stage. I am also deeply thankful to The Pop Stage judges, Popeyes and my supporters for this life-changing opportunity.
“In this time of uncertainty, may we all have the heart to spread love among humanity,” ang buong nilalaman ng statement ni CJ.
3 taon nagtago:KC nilait ang kurba
“Portuguese curves” ang term ni KC Concepcion sa kanyang figure na aniya ay hindi raw pala dapat ikahiya. Nag-post siya ng kanyang larawan showing her curves at sey niya sa caption, she is a Filipina with Latina curves.
Ayon pa kay KC, naranasan na raw niyang ma-body shame for not having that Asian body kaya naman nagpahinga at nagtago siya for 3 years dahil naapektuhan siya mentally, emotionally and physically.
“Making my Portuguese curves shine everyday… in case someone’s been living under a rock, curves are in, curves are NOW, curves are TIMELESS and having this ultra feminine shape?? I wouldn’t have it any other way!
“I used to get body-shamed when I went on my 3-year hiatus for not having that Asian, stick thin body (for an Asian like me), and many women like me get affected by this mentally, emotionally and physically,” ang bungad ni KC.
With this pandemic we are facing right now, na-realize raw niya na hindi siya dapat magkaroon ng eating disorder para lang pumayat.
“Going through a pandemic and realizing the big picture issues of the world, I realized life is to be celebrated, and enjoyed… Like, why would I choose to develop an eating disorder over losing all the extra weight healthily? Why choose to lock myself up comparing myself to everyone else, when I could be dressing up for these fire feminine hips and that booty (that some girls even pay to have by the way)?
“ Celebrate LIFE. Tomorrow is not promised.
“Serving you… a FILIPINA with LATINA CURVES. I’m here to celebrate all Filipinas who are like me,” patuloy niya.
Sa huli ay in-encourage niya ang mga kababaihan na mahalin din ang kanilang katawan.
“To all my ladies & ladies at heart— comment hearts if you love your body! To the boys & men— comment fire if you drool over feminine curves. Time to confess. Haha,” pagtatapos ng dalaga ni Sharon Cuneta.
