Cone kay Aguilar ‘wag pasaway
Napagsabihan ni coach Tim Cone si Japeth Aguilar pagkatapos lumabag sa health protocols hinggil sa social distancing at no-contact policy ang Ginebra big man.
Ayon kay Cone, bilang pinakapopular na team sa PBA, may responsibilidad ang bawat player ng Gin Kings sa publiko.
“The moment you step out of line, the moment you start doing things on your own or doing something that’s against (the rules), it will get out in the press and people are going to make a big deal about it,” wika kahapon ni Cone.
Noong nakaraang buwan, sumali si Japeth sa pickup game na mahigpit na ipinagbabawal dahil laganap ang coronavirus pandemic.
Pinagmulta ng PBA si Japeth ng P20,000 inobliga ring mag-community service.
Bilang miyembro ng Ginebra, sila ang lodi ng bayan kaya dapat laging alinsunod sa patakaran ang pinapakita sa loob at labas ng court.
“It’s really on us, to not only be the good boys, but also be the leaders,” dagdag ng bench tactician. “So we had a talk about that after it happened with Japeth and I think our guys have stepped up with discipline and have a lot better.”
Hindi na binigyan ng penalty ng team ang center/forward.
Ibinalita ng two-time grand slam coach na walang nag-positive sa COVID-19 sa kanyang players.
“The good news is, we continue to test our guys and we don’t have any infections. We’re all negative, so obviously they’re not going out and getting themselves exposed. They’re following protocol,” panapos na lahad ni Cone. (Vladi Eduarte)
