“The most important thing now I believe is just to keep yourself busy. That’s personally what I’m trying to do. I went back to school and I’m pursuing Psychology. So it’s really important that we keep ourselves busy, partly for our mental health,” pahayag ni Liza in her recent video interview.
Soberano umiyak sa pandemya
Pag-amin niya, siya man ay may mga moment din na umiiyak na lang dahil sa nangyayari sa ating bansa because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Because we can get so caught up in what’s happening to the country, in regards to this pandemic, and it can really be draining and it can be depressing.
“There were phases where I would just cry because I’m uncertain of what’s going to happen to the whole world and as a citizen of the earth, it’s important that we do our part by staying at home, by trying to limit contact with other people as much as possible because I know that’s really hard right now. But it will give us a better outcome in the long run,” she said.
“We’re still thinking of ways that we can be of service to our loyal customers. And thinking of ways to kind of change it, but with the same relaxing feeling of the spa and everything. But, of course, with the new safety protocols that we have to abide with,” she said.
“I celebrated about six different birthdays during quarantine. My siblings, my dad, and then Enrique’s and my aunts. So it was different because we’re used to celebrating usually we eat out at restaurants and of course this time we couldn’t do that. it was different but not any less meaningful. We celebrated at home,” aniya.
“I actually cooked for all of those birthdays. We made homemade cakes. it’s different but it was just as meaningful because now we have the opportunity to sit down, have meaningful conversations with each other, reflect also at the same time, and realize what we’re grateful for and how we’re privileged in so many ways,” sey pa ni Liza.
