Saad ng kanilang statement: “The real purpose of the brand name is simply to encourage adolescents and teenagers to EAT PROPERLY.

“It was named that way so it would catch peoples attention easily. Most teenagers nowadays lack proper nutrition because of gadgets and social media which causes them sometimes to miss a meal. Through the shirts, they are at least reminded to also pay attention to their nutrition.

“That’s what we really want to convey. Objectifying woman is definitely not the intention.”

Komento ng mga netizen: @au_glgd, “When you say eat properly and pay attention to nutrition, this is what we meant. Follow the Food Pyramid Guide. Not that one who wears that kind of shirts. KNPP Clothing Line is obviously a trash. Stop objectifying women and normalizing sexual harassment.”

@Mrcxism, “The majority of people that read the statement of the clothing line that created ‘Kain Pepe’ know that it’s a pathetic and poorly written excuse. If you’re trying to encourage people to eat properly, then why is your pose like this? What are you encouraging the people to eat?”

Bat niya dinedefend yung brand niya eh in the first place, tunog at basa pa lang bastos na.

(Rona Ronda)
