Kylie nalampasan ang depresyon

Isa si Kylie Verzosa sa mga celebrities natin na tumutulong para palaganapin ang mental health awareness dahil alam niya na kung gaano ito kahirap pagdaanan bilang dumaan din siya sa depresyon 5 years ago.

“Pinagdaanan ko rin ‘yun. I went through depression five years ago and I felt like I overcame something so big na I wanted it to be spoken about and I always wondered bakit hindi ito napapag-uusapan?” ani Kylie sa kanyang YouTube vlog.

Lalo nga raw ngayong mga panahong ito ng pandemic na maraming pinagdadaanan ang mga tao, gusto niyang iparating sa mga tao na hindi sila nag-iisa.

“I think it’s so important to talk about mental health especially during this season, marami talaga tayong pinagdadaanan. Hindi lang kayo pero ako rin, kami rin, lahat-lahat.

“I mean, sometimes, behind the perfect photos in Instagram and everything, sometimes I might be breaking down. Mahirap, guys. It’s really hard now. But hindi kayo nag-iisa,” pahayag pa ni Miss International 2016.

Payo ni Kylie sa mga dumaranas ng depresyon, “don’t worry, kapit lang tayo. Let’s take it one day at a time. Let’s try to focus at one problem at a time. Let’s keep on making ourselves better. This is the perfect time to keep on improving ourselves.”

Dagdag pa niya ay malaking bagay rin daw ang pagdadasal. “Prayers really, really help. It’s really, really helped me and believe that we will get better. Things will get better, guys. Kapit lang.”
