“For me if I can still walk, if I can still move my body and that in a sense is a blessing from God. It took a lot of courage, a lot of rehab, a lot of days of just longing to play and not being able to do anything,” esplika ni Laput. “The PTs wouldn’t even let me jog, they wouldn’t even let me lift the smallest (barbell) plate, they wouldn’t even let me dribble a ball,”
“For myself, I continue to play ball, I continue to hoop and play basketball because I told myself that I’m going to retire from the game of basketball when my body no longer can do it anymore. And when I say no longer, I’m saying like I can’t run up and down the court anymore. So, until that happens, I’m gonna still use my body for what I can and play ball.” saad pa ng Perth native.
