“I’m dumbfounded because many people gave me positive reviews about acting. I always said that I wanted to be recognized as an actor, but I felt lacking every time, and I am grateful and happy that you gave me many compliments through this work,” deklara niya.
“In particular, the most impressive response was that, ‘you are different from conventional pyschopaths.’ I thought it might be buried in Mouse was so solid and intense, but I don’t know what to do because people show a lot of interest in the character,” dagdag pa niya.
When asked kung after this very challenging role, gusto pa rin niya ang mapaghamong proyekto.
Pakli niya, “Basically, many people were worried because the image of a psychopath we think and the image of a person named Lee Seung Gi were so contradictory. However the character of Jung Bareum is both very good and very evil. Fortunately, I’m glad that the image I had, helped a lot in some ways.
“In fact, rather than playing the villain and the good, I think about what character will symphatize with, and if there’s a charm, I will always play a different role. While playing the role of Jung Bareum, I felt how much a pyscho role can widen the acting range, so I will continue to challenge anything if I can show various capabilities.”
Pero sabi rin niya, “Let’s take care of body and mind first and take a closer look. I thought I wanted to do a sweet romantic comedy while acting a serious and heavy work, but I don’t want to come to a conclusion yet.
“I try to find a drama that can reach many people and make interesting stories. Also, I want to have time to review what the character wants to say.”
Sey niya, “First, I want to sleep soundly without thinking. Of course, I watched the final episode live. The writer wrote the ending so well and I think, it was the best ending that Jung Bareum could have and that the viewers could understand.”
