Mascarinas umayuda sa mga frontliner

Nakisali na rin ang Bounty Agro Ventures Inc. (BAVI) ni Ronald Mascariñas sa magbibigay ng tulong sa mga frontliner nang mapaminsalang COVID-19 pandemic.

Sanib puwersa ang Bounty Fresh, Chooks-to-Go, Uling Roasters, Adobo Connection, at Meat Market by Holly Farms para makaipon ng donasyon at ilalagak sa Bounty Cares Foundation upang ipamigay sa mga medical worker, military men at volunteer.

“We are living in difficult times with our lives at stake and our jobs at risk. While our health workers serve in the frontlines battling against the coronavirus pandemic, we choose to do our part as well,” hayag ni Mascariñas.

Simula kahapon hanggang March 27 at sa March 29 magbibigay ang Bounty Fresh ng 100,000-kilograms na mga fully-dressed chicken na ipapamahagi sa iba’t-ibang parte ng bansa tulad ng Bulacan, Tarlac, Pangasinan, Bataan, Rizal, Taguig, Pasig, at Caloocan.

Noong Martes, nag-deliver ang Bounty ng 1,000kg na mga manok sa University of the Philippines Diliman para sa mga stranded dormers at personnel sa loob ng Diliman campus.

Para sa Adobo Connection, naghanda ng 1,200 packed meals na ipadadala sa medical workers sa UERM Memorial Hospital, San Juan de Dios Hospital, East Avenue Medical Center, at Jose Rodriguez Memorial Hospital.

Patuloy naman ang staff ng Chooks-to-Go at Uling Roasters sa paglibot upang mapaglingkuran ang public hospitals at checkpoints.

Nabigyan ng packed meals na Chooks-to-Go o Uling Roasters ang checkpoints sa Tuguegarao, Cagayan; Iligan, San Mariano, Benito, Cauayan, Echague, Alicia, Jones, San Agustin sa Isabela, Siniloan, Laguna at Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center sa Cebu.

“I and the board have decided not to count the cost of our donations during this crisis. What matters for us is that our frontliners and our countrymen get the right nutrition they need,” wakas ng businessman-sportsman. (Elech Dawa)
