Tanggap ni Dolreich ‘Bo’ Perasol na nalusutan ang UP Fighting Maroons ang Sto. Tomas Growling Tigers, 69-85, nitong Sabado sa 82nd University Athletic Association of the Philippines seniors basketball tournament 2019 first round eliminations sa Araneta Coliseum.

“No doubt in my mind that we don’t deserve to win that game. Playing is simple, UST just outplayed us. We just showed a crack on our team that we need to address,” bulalas ng State U coach. “Good thing about it is that this is very early.”

Kahit wagi kontra Far Eastern Tamaraws nitong Miyerkoles, 61-55, pinunto ni coach Perasol: “We kept on trying, we kept on fighting, but our goal is not just to survive a game, our goal is more than that.

“My perspective is not just about winning against UST, it’s about how are we going to bring that kind of game for the rest of the first round. Knowing the way we played, I don’t think that was something we are going to bring for the next few games that we have. We need to make some good adjustments.” litanya niya.

“We need to share the ball more. We really need to really play good defense. We’re trying to watch everybody make things happen,” giit niya. “So we have to find a way to make things work, make things happen for us.”

(Janiel Abby Toralba)
