Nagpapasalamat si Piolo Pascual na during this pandemic ay hindi naman siya nagkasakit gayundin ang kanyang pamilya.

“Mabait naman ang Diyos, hindi tayo nagkasakit, even my family,” sey ni Papa P. sa digital mediacon para sa bagong campaign ng Sun Life na “Partner in Health” kung saan nga ay isa siya sa ambassadors.

Ayon kay Papa P. marami raw siyang naging realizations ngayong pandemic.

“I guess, for me, isa na rito ang mga bagay na gusto ko pang gawin sa buhay, you know, such as acting projects, movies that I’d like to produce, businesses that I’d like to pursue, and siyempre, people I wanna spend time with – my family, my mom, my son and my loved ones. That’s why, I guess, ganu’n ko alagaan ang health ko because I know it’s worth it,” aniya.

Ikinuwento rin ni Papa P ang kanyang simpleng pamumuhay sa probinsiya. As we all know ay may rest house ang aktor sa Batangas at doon siya naglalagi nitong pandemic.

“If there is one funny thing that I’d like to share about the pandemic was it was really hard for my handler, my manager to get me to do videos because since I live in the province, there were days na hindi ako naliligo, there are days na hindi ako nakadamit. You know, I’m just roaming around the property, so it’s hard to kinda you know, ask me to do stuff for work.

“Kasi nga, parang sumobra ‘yung pagiging comfortable ko sa pahinga that I just wanted to get rid of anything na hindi naman kailangan. To the point that you know, I was just living a basic life every day for several months,” pagbahahagi ni Piolo.

“Pag bumabalik ng trabaho, parang bago ulit,” dagdag pa niya.

Samantala, agkakaroon din ang Sun Life ng series of webinars (Safe Space) focusing on mental health to be conducted in collaboration with the Philippine Mental Health Association, Inc. (PMHA). The pilot stream, entitled “Love ’em, Hate ’em, Stress ’em: Mental Wellness for the Family,” will be held on April 9. It will be followed by “Imperfect Balance: How Mental Wellness Bridges Work and Life” on May 14. The series will close on June 18 with “You are Worth It: Illuminating a Path towards Holistic Health.”
