Ramirez: Kaya gold sa Tokyo

Malakas ang kutob ni Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Chairman William ‘Butch’ Ramirez na may mananalo ng gold medal sa 19 na atletang pa-32nd Summer Olympic Games 2020 sa Tokyo, Japan sa parating na Hulyo 23-Agosto 8 sa Tokyo, Japan.

Nakaatang sa balikat nina Ernest John Obiena at Kristina Knott (athletics), Carlos Edriel Yulo (gymnastics), Eumir Felix Marcial, Irish Magno, Nesthy Petecio at Carlo Paalam (boxing), Hidilyn Diaz at Elreen Ann Ando (weightlifting), Cris Nievarez (rowing), Kurt Barbosa (taekwondo), Margielyn Didal (skateboarding), Jayson Valdez (shooting), Kiyomi Watanabe (judo), Yuka Saso, Bianca Pagdanganan at Juvic Pagunsan (golf),at Luke Gebbie at Remedy Rule (swimming) na tapusin ang pagkauhaw sa gold ng bansa sapul noong 1924.

“I’m so excited for the result of the hard work of the athletes, coaches, and NSAs on this journey to Tokyo Olympics in this pandemic,” bulalas Ramirez Biyernes sa PSC Hour ng Radyo Pilipinas Dos. “Iyung makarating ka lang ng Olympics, parang nanalo ka na rin ng gold. It’s priceless to be in an international competition lalo na sa Olympics.” (Angelito Oredo)
