Ito patutsada ni two-division world champion Guillermo Rigondeaux ng Cuba kay World Boxing Orgnaization bantamweight champion John Riel Casimero pagkatalo ng una sa huli via split decision sa Dignity Health and Sports Park sa Carson, California Sabado (Linggo sa Maynila).

Nadepensahan ng 31-year-old at 5-foot-4 Pinoy boxer mula sa Ormoc sa ikalawang pagkakataon ang titulo para umangat sa 31-4 (21 KOs) win-loss ang record, habang laglag sa 20-2 (13 KOs) ang 2004 Sydney at 2004 Athens Olympic bantamweight gold medal winner.

Mas agresibo si Casimero sa 47 punches landed, kumpara sa Cuban na may 44.
