Sa kanyang Instagram post, ibinunyag ni Solenn Heussaff ang pinagdadadanang sakit.
She revealed that she’s suffering from de Quervain’s tenosynovitis, a condition that causes pain, tenderness, and swelling along the thumb side of your wrist.
According to a medical website, it is sometimes called “baby wrist” or “mother’s thumb” because it often develops in new mothers, possibly because of the repetitive movements needed to care for an infant. It can also be caused by an injury to the thumb or by an inflammatory condition such as rheumatoid arthritis.
Sa IG Story ni Solenn ay ibinahagi niyang 5 months na raw ang kanyang sakit at nasubukan na raw niya ang iba’t-ibang treatments.
“Wake up early because of the pain I get from my Dequervains synovitis. Its been 5 months and it sucks.
“Also, being forced to use my left hand during these times has made me realise how unfriendly everyday things are to left handed people haha
“Yes, I have tried hand exercises, dry needing, thumb splint,” ani Solenn.
Pag hindi pa raw nawala ay baka magpa-inject na siya ng steroids,
“Giving it 2 more weeks and will take the injection of steroids on affected are as everyone recos. I never thought I would say this: I miss push ups and burpees lol” aniya.
