Tetay malabo pa sa MMFF
Ayon kay Atty. Joji Alonzo of Quantum Films, hinihintay pa rin nila ang desisyon ni Kris Aquino kung gagawin ba nito ang Metro Manila Film Festival movie, “(K)ampon” with Derek Ramsay.
“She can’t shoot kasi this August, so medyo masikip ang shooting schedule.
“I’ve accepted na may physical limitations na talaga ‘ko… humility has taught me other actresses can credibly play my role. Kaya po kayo ang tatanungin ko (since kayo naman ang manonood)- should i make my return via this horror movie or give way now para makaha-nap na ng other actress to take my place? Nagtanong ako, so hindi mapipikon sa kung ano man ang sagot,” ang pahayag ni Kris few days ago sa kanyang IG.
Sa kasalukuyan ay nasa Japan si Kris para magpahinga bilang paghahanda sa isang Christmas endorsement na isu-shoot daw ngayong Sabado.
Nabanggit din ni Kris in one of her posts na wala raw siya sa Pilipinas for the whole month of August.
Kathryn sa best actress award: I feel validated
Hindi nakarating si Kathryn Bernardo sa 3rd Entertainment Editors’ Choice (The EDDYs) Awards held last Sunday kung saan ay nanalo siyang Best Actress for “The How’s of Us” kaya naman sa kanyang IG na lang niya ipinost ang acceptance speech at ang pasasalamat sa nasabing award.
“As I type this, I am out of words. I honestly can’t even begin to express how grateful I am for this Best Actress award. I am incredibly honored and deeply thankful to the Entertainment Editors’ Choice Awards for Movies (The Eddys) for granting The Hows of Us another unexpected win. Maraming, maraming salamat po!
“I personally believe that trophies do not make an actress. It’s also not about the sales or how much a movie has earned.
“It’s about the many hearts that you’re able to touch through your films. It’s about making a fictional character come to life and having other people see themselves in her as well. It’s about the literal sweat, blood, and tears that you pour into your role.
“I feel validated as an actress not because of this trophy, but because of what it symbo-lizes: people lining up in the cinemas to see the film we’ve worked so hard on, being able to touch so many hearts through it, and the continuous support and recognition that we’ve been receiving since. Your endless love and support make everything worthwhile.
“Salamat din sayo, George, for making this possible!” ang mahabang caption ni Kathryn sa larawan ng kanyang tropeo.
This is Kathryn’s second win para sa naturang pelikula. Matatandaang nasungkit din niya ang Best Actress award sa 35th Star Award for Movies ng Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) last month.
