UP pinalagan red-tagging sa academic walkout

Umalma ang University of the Philippines’ President Advisory Council (UP-PAC) sa ginawang pangre-red-tag umano ng National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) sa mga estudyante nitong nagsagawa ng academic walkout bilang protesta sa sinasabing kapalpakan ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) sa nakaraang halalan.

“We view, with grave concern, the most recent effort of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) to red-tag members of the UP community,” ayon sa pahayag ng unibersidad nitong Biyernes.

Critical thinking and service to community and country are hallmarks of UP’s tradition as an institution of higher learning. Hands off our students. Hands off our University. Defend academic freedom,” sabi pa ng konseho. (Ansherina Jazul)
