Yanson maginoo sa pagkatalo
Maluwag sa dibdib na tinanggap ni Negros Occidental Football Association Ricardo ‘Ricky’ Yanson Jr. ang pagkatalo sa pagkapangulo ng Philippine Football Federation kay Mariano Araneta, 23-12, sa 16th PFF Congress & Election Biyernes sa Century Park Hotel sa Malate, Manila.
“I graciously acknowledge the victory of Mr. Mariano Araneta and sincerely wish him well as the new president of the PFF,” pahayag ni Yanson.
“I would like to thank my wife, my daughter, my family, my campaign team and all of my supporters for their unwavering dedication to our cause. Not once did they give up.”
Ipagpapatuloy pa rin ni Yanson ang pagsuporta sa PH football sa kabila ng kanyang kabiguan sa halalan.
“As one Coach had said after a defeat, life goes on,” aniya pa.
“Indeed, life goes on for me. I will continue to help Philippine football through the “Football Para Sa Lahat” advocacy. I will continue the programs we’ve begun in Negros Occidental and will wholeheartedly partner with PFF in endeavors just like NOFA has done in the past. Life goes on. Nothing will change my love for the beautiful game,” panapos ni Yanson. (AE)
